Class Description
Sewing Basics is a 4 evening course designed for those who are curious about sewing and want a supportive, hands on introduction. This course focuses on building confidence at the sewing machine while learning practical, everyday skills you can actually use. Each class builds on the last, combining guided instruction with plenty of time to practice at your own pace in a relaxed environment. Over the 4 classes, you’ll learn how to: -Use a sewing machine with confidence -Read and understand a simple sewing pattern -Understand fabric types and how to choose the right fabric -And finish with a pouch complete with a zipper and interfacing! All supplies are provided as part of the course. You’re welcome to bring fabric if you have something in mind you'd like to use but zippers and fabrics will be supplied! This is a bring your own sewing machine class. Perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking for a refresher, this course will leave you with practical skills, finished work, and the confidence to keep sewing on your own. The class starts Wednesday May 13th and runs until Wednesday June 3rd at Studio 2880. Bring your own machine and a good attitude and we'll have a blast! If you don't have a machine we have spares please just reach out before signing up to see if any of the spares are available.

To cancel or reschedule please leave 72 hours of notice so we can fill the spot with someone on the waitlist. If you cancel after the 72hr period you will be charged 40$.
